1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FYP platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

FYP sells a draft. It does not sell a finished final year project. The service finds sources, builds a citation plan for you to approve, writes each section to that plan, and formats the result as an editable document. That document is a guide for your own work: a structure, a set of sources to read, and a worked example of the argument.

FYP reports the sources that a language model finds on the web. It checks available metadata and links and, where a public HTML or text source can be safely read, compares a bounded excerpt with the cited claim. These automated checks are not conclusive. The draft is yours to review, correct, and rework.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the draft as a guide, and write the work you submit yourself
  • Follow the rules of your institution on outside help and on writing tools
  • Read each source and check each citation before you use the document
  • Not use our service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access restrictions

4. Using Your Draft

FYP is a research and drafting tool. What you download is a draft and a guide. It is not prepared for submission as it stands, and you agree not to submit it as it stands. You are responsible for the work you submit.

  • FYP reports separate source-existence, metadata, citation-plan and claim-support checks. A model judgement or partial excerpt does not prove that a citation or page reference is correct.
  • Read every source before you approve it. This review is the check that the product depends on.
  • Write the version you submit in your own words, from your own reading of the sources. Where a project needs data, the data must be data you collected.
  • Many institutions restrict help from writing tools, and some prohibit it. Read your own rules before you use the draft, and tell your supervisor what your department requires you to tell them.
  • The work you submit must reflect your own understanding. Defence questions are there to help you learn the material.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms for our services:

  • The price depends on your course. It is a base price plus a source discovery fee, and we show both before you pay.
  • A memorandum and a policy brief each have their own fixed price.
  • A bundle credit can be used for a course in the faculty it was bought for, at the same price or lower.
  • You can change your course for one at the same price or lower until your outline has been generated.
  • Payments are processed securely through Paystack
  • All payments are final once a project has been initiated
  • Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis before project generation begins
  • You keep access to your projects while your account is active. A project with no activity for 15 months is deleted, after an email warning at 12 months.
  • Each project has a limit on how much generation it can use. If you reach it, contact us.

6. Intellectual Property

The draft generated through our platform is provided for your personal study and as a guide for your own writing. You retain ownership of your project topics, the data you upload, and any original content you provide. The FYP platform, including its design, features, and underlying technology, remains the property of FYP and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

FYP provides its services "as is" without warranties of any kind. The draft is a guide and is not offered as work ready to submit. We do not guarantee that it will meet your institution's specific requirements, pass any similarity or authorship check, or result in any particular grade. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Always read the document and check every source before you use it.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our platform. You may also request account deletion at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
