Outline
You enter your topic. FYP builds the chapters and the sections for that topic. Each section lists the claims it will make. You edit the outline and approve it before anything else runs.
Sources
This is the part that matters. FYP searches the web for a source for each claim. It builds a citation plan: one source for each claim, section by section. You see the whole plan and reject what you do not want. No prose exists yet, so a change costs you nothing.

Writing
FYP writes each section from its citation plan. The model cites only the sources in that plan. It cannot add a source of its own, because the plan is the only list it receives.
Review
After the writing, FYP compares each cited claim with what it can read of the source and marks the ones to check. You can remove a source at any point. FYP plans that section again from the sources that remain and writes it again.

Treat it as a draft and a guide. It gives you a structure, a set of sources to read, and a worked example of how your argument can run. Read each source, check each citation, and write the version you submit in your own words. Your department has rules on outside help, so read them first. The work you submit is yours to stand behind.
FYP searches the web and reports the sources it finds. It checks available DOI metadata and links, and later compares each cited claim with a bounded excerpt when the public source can be read safely. Those checks are not conclusive. You see the plan before the writing starts. Read every source yourself.

FYP is for a student who wants a sourced draft to work from. It drafts a final year project, a legal memorandum, or a policy brief. You supply the topic and the judgement. FYP supplies a structure, the sources, and a draft to build on.
Most drafts take a few hours. FYP runs one stage at a time and saves its progress after each one, so you can close the page and continue later. A project with a questionnaire or laboratory results has two parts. FYP drafts the first three chapters, you collect your data, and the remaining chapters are written from what you bring back.
